Protecting Your Safety is Our Top Priority at PHX Training

Here at PHX Training, we take the safety and well-being of our learners and staff very seriously. We understand that safeguarding is not just a legal requirement, but a moral obligation that we take very seriously. That’s why we’ve implemented strict policies and procedures to ensure that everyone who comes into contact with our organisation is kept safe and secure.

Pre-Employment Checks for All Staff

To ensure that our learners and staff are protected, we require all of our staff members to undergo pre-employment checks. This process helps us to ensure that those who work for us are suitable for working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Our staff members must also complete regular mandatory safeguarding training to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.

Specialist Training for Designated Leads

In addition to the mandatory training, our designated leads undertake additional, specialist training with local safeguarding boards. This helps to ensure that they are equipped with the latest information and guidance on how to identify, manage, and report any concerns. Our safeguarding leads and officers are accountable to the board, so you can be confident that your safety is in good hands.

Safer Recruitment for Recruiting Managers

Our recruiting managers are also fully trained in safer recruitment to ensure that they can identify any potential risks and make informed decisions when hiring new staff members. This helps to minimise the risk of any safeguarding incidents happening and ensures that everyone who comes into contact with our organisation is kept safe and secure.

Information for Learners

We also provide our learners with information on how to stay safe through their inductions, tutorials, and lessons. This helps to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and others. We regularly survey our learners to evaluate how we can continue to improve this essential aspect of our work, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions.

Reporting Concerns

If you have any concerns about safeguarding, or about the prevention of radicalisation, we encourage you to contact the safeguarding representative for your local office. They will be able to address your concerns and provide you with the support and advice you need. Our safeguarding policy sets out the steps we take to ensure that all concerns are dealt with appropriately and in line with best practices.

Our Commitment to Your Safety

At PHX Training, we are committed to protecting your safety and well-being. We take our responsibilities very seriously and we are always looking for ways to improve our policies and procedures. We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe and secure, and we will do everything in our power to ensure that you do.

Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do here at PHX Training. We are dedicated to ensuring that our learners and staff are protected, and we have implemented a range of policies and procedures to ensure that this is the case. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our safeguarding representatives. They will be more than happy to help.
