Our Skills Bootcamps are fully funded by the UK Government, so there’s nothing to pay.
Designed in collaboration with employers, our programme focuses on the skills, knowledge and experience businesses are actively looking for. This means you’ll be learning what truly matters in today’s job market.

Skills Bootcamp in Health and Social Care
Course Introduction
Health and social care is one of Cumbria’s most vital and in-demand sectors, offering stable, rewarding careers that make a real difference in people’s lives. With thousands of roles across hospitals, care homes, community services and local organisations, employers are actively seeking new talent to join the workforce.
Our Skills Bootcamp in Health and Social Care is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to start or progress in this growing sector, fast.
How is it delivered?
Our Skills Bootcamps have been designed to be flexible and fit around your needs and can be delivered both in person or on line. They are designed to be completed within 6 weeks and can complement your work commitments if you are already in employment.
How much will it cost me?
Our Skills Bootcamps for fully funded.
If you are an employer looking to upskill your existing team, maybe someone is ready to move in to a leadership role, then a contribution of the cost of the Skills Bootcamp will guarantee their learning and place on the course. Contributions are either 10 or 30% of the cost, depending on the size of your business. Please contact us if you would like more details.

Am I eligible?
You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you are age 19 or over, have the right to work in the UK, live within the county of Cumbria.
When can I start?
We have cohorts starting regularly so contact us via our contact form, email address or via social media and we can get you signed up straight away.
