Surosh builds a brighter future after completing multiple courses with PHX

Surosh has transformed her life through hard work, determination, and a passion for learning after arriving in England from Pakistan just three years ago.

Surosh recently completed a series of training programmes with PHX, including the Security Industry Authority (SIA) course.

Throughout her time with PHX, she took on multiple challenges, gaining qualifications in key areas such as mental health awareness, safeguarding, customer service, and money management.

Keen to develop her knowledge even further, Surosh consistently went above and beyond, undertaking independent research to deepen her understanding of the SIA course content. Her tutors recognised her drive and enthusiasm, with her work regularly exceeding expectations.

Reflecting on her experience, Surosh said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my courses. I felt fully supported by the PHX staff and I’ve gained so much knowledge while achieving my qualifications.

“I would definitely recommend training with PHX to anyone who has the time and commitment for self-improvement.”

As she grew in confidence, Surosh became passionate about encouraging others to embrace learning opportunities. She expressed a desire to help raise awareness of important topics like mental health, safeguarding, and customer service in the various sectors she may work in in the future.

Thanks to her dedication and achievement, she is now progressing along her employment pathway and has secured an interview with Elite Security, a key step towards a rewarding career in the security industry.

Asma Mulla, tutor at PHX, said: “Surosh has worked incredibly hard to meet all the qualification criteria. Her commitment and positive attitude have been inspiring to see. We’re so proud of her progress and wish her every success with her interview and future career.”

For Surosh, what began as an opportunity for learning has turned into a personal mission, to use her experience to help others and make a positive impact in her community.
